RecoveryBoots® Protocols

An inner garment should be worn under the compression boot for hygienic reasons and to absorb perspiration.

USE

Insert foot into the RecoveryBoots® one leg at a time. Pull the RecoveryBoots® towards hip, extending it to its maximum length, and close the zipper starting from the bottom. Your heel should be in the heel cup of the foot section and your toes should NOT be sticking out of the RecoveyBoots®. Ensure they are completely zipped before beginning a treatment. RecoveryBoots® are not side specific so there is no right nor is there a left.

WHEN FINISHED WITH TREATMENT, TURN THE RECOVERYPUMP® OFF

Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the RecoveryBoots® to begin to deflate. This will enable you to remove them easily. Unzip the RecoveryBoots® partially and slip them off. Zip fully closed and disconnect from the RecoveryPump® for storage between uses.

Pre-Competition . . .

20 minutes pre-competition use to achieve dilated vascular system similar to that of a warm-up exercise.

Daily Muscle Recovery . . .

45+ minutes, once daily after training. Intense training days may require 1.5 hours. (This therapy may be conducted in two sessions if desired)

Rehab . . .

30 minutes, three times daily to help reduce edema and encourage better joint mobility due to swelling

Pressure and pause settings should be adjusted to personal comfort. A pressure of 40mmHg or above is recommended for optimal results.

 

 

RECOVERYCORE® Protocols

An inner garment should be worn under the compression shorts for hygienic reasons and to absorb perspiration.

USE

While in seated or supine (laying face up) position, put on the RecoveryCore® and adjust zippers to fit comfortably. The RecoveryCore® should not fit tightly. Ensure zippers are closed completely. Pillows or a bolster may be used under the knees and/or ankles for comfort.

WHEN FINISHED WITH TREATMENT, TURN THE RECOVERYPUMP® OFF

Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the RecoveryCore® to begin to deflate. This will enable you to remove it easily. Unzip the RecoveryCore® partially and slip it off. Zip fully closed and disconnect from the RecoveryPump® for storage between uses.

Pre-Competition . . .

15 minutes pre-competition use to achieve dilated vascular system similar to that of a warm-up exercise

Daily Muscle Recovery . . .

30 minutes, once daily after training. Intense training days may require 45+ minutes

Rehab . . .

30 minutes, two times daily to help reduce edema and encourage better joint mobility due to swelling

An inner garment should be worn under the compression garment for hygienic reasons and to absorb perspiration.

USE

While in seated or supine (laying face up) position, put on the RecoveryArms® and adjust strap to fit comfortably and securely. If seated in a chair, elevate the RecoveryArms® on a chair back or pillow.

WHEN FINISHED WITH TREATMENT, TURN THE RECOVERYPUMP® OFF

Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the RecoveryArms® to begin to deflate. This will enable you to remove it easily. Unsnap the chest strap on the RecoveryArm® and slide it off. Disconnect from the RecoveryPump® for storage between uses.

10 minutes pre-competition therapy to achieve dilated vascular system similar to that of a warm-up exercise.

Daily Muscle Recovery . . .

20 minutes, once daily after training on either arm. Intense training days may require 30+ minutes.

HALF-JACKET® protocols

An inner garment should be worn under the compression garment for hygienic reasons and to absorb perspiration.

USE

Use Half-Jacket in a seated position. The arm can be treated straight out (90 degrees) or in a neutral position. Use optional strap for support. Select correct fastener for side of body being treated and zip to vest. Put on like a jacket and tuck armpit chamber into arm sleeve. Fasten the hook & loop tabs at top and bottom. Zip garment closed around torso. Tighten side straps for a comfortable fit.

USING OPTIONAL ARM STRAP

Fasten Strap to torso before turning on pump. Use pump for one inflation cycle to allow garment to fill with air. At deflation, bend arm to desired position. Pull strap to desired tension.

WHEN FINISHED WITH TREATMENT, TURN THE RECOVERYPUMP® OFF

Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the Half-Jacket to begin to deflate. This will enable you to remove it easily. Unzip and slide the Half-Jacket off. Disconnect from the RecoveryPump® for storage between uses.

RECOVERYPANTS® PROTOCOLS

An inner garment should be worn under the compression garment for hygienic reasons and to absorb perspiration.

USE

Use RecoveryPants® while in supine (laying face up) position. Use one of three appropriate zippers on both sides of the pants for a comfortable fit. If pants are tight, expanders are available to increase width. Have zippers open halfway to easily put on Pants. Close zippers once inside the Pants. For optimal comfort, open zipper closest to heel on the bottom back of Pants. Then use one of two tether points at foot for a more comfortable fit. Pull lengthwise strap to adjust angle of foot. Release buckle to loosen tension.

WHEN FINISHED WITH TREATMENT, TURN THE RECOVERYPUMP® OFF

Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the RecoveryPants® to begin to deflate. This will enable easy removal. Unzip sides half way and slide the RecoveryPants® off. Disconnect from the RecoveryPump® for storage between uses.
